NetworkPolicy

A NetworkPolicy selects Pods by label and declares allowed ingress/egress traffic. Kubernetes treats all Pod-to-Pod traffic as allowed by default, so NetworkPolicies are how a cluster gets any default-deny segmentation — and they only take effect if the CNI plugin implements them.
